Video Projects - Series
Camera Group

I first started using video cameras in 2009, when I recorded a basic biblical Greek class with a Flip pocket camera. I've since lost all that footage in a hard drive crash. However, my next series was documenting my sailboat build with a Kodak Zi-8 pocket video camera. That series is still on Youtube. See Page 2 I also documented a rowboat build but this time using a Canon HF-300 camcorder. See Page 3 That one bit the dust but not until I recorded my shed build. See Page 4 and Page 5. I've also used a cheap Chinese camcorder, which broke in a year. My current video camera is a Canon HF-800 camcorder. Somewhere I acquired a Chinese GoPro knockoff which wasn't very useful and a trail camera which only managed to capture a stray cat pooping in my yard and my neighbor taking out his trash to the street.

iconoclast video series

Red Iconoclast Man The Iconclast series started out on the new video streaming platform in 2017, vid.me, 15 in all but they were mostly ignored. After that platform went under. I got an account on another new video streaming platform, brighteon.com, where they're mostly ignored too. So I uploaded the Iconoclast series to Youtube, where they are again ignored. Apparently the opinions and rantings of an old man jabbering at his back fence don't count for much ... but that won't deter me from eventually doing more. I just may not use the back fence as a studio. Maybe the shed can be an iconoclastic studio ...?? --> Iconoclast Videos on Youtube <--

Bible Teaching Video Series

After the Greek class, I went on to make other Bible Teaching Series. Some never got off the ground, others were very short duration. I had the video template and artwork for a Bible Gems series but never made the first teaching video for it. (Probably more imaignative about video editing than making content) Then there was a "sitting in the park" teaching series that I never named. That went no where except as practice with lighting and audio. I did a series of three "Shooting Big Game Evil" series where I use an air soft gun at a local park to shoot evil as I narrated. Not too popular either. I did a "Gospel Bridges" series where a local park with many long bridges was my 'studio.' I gave that up due to the awkwardness of it's location and interruptions. I did a "Biblical Anthropologist" series using a green screen technique, where I explored the ancient middle eastern culture and how it influences our understanding of the Bible. That was a technichial challenge with lighting ... and not very popular but some people watched it. All this effort adds up to 42 videos posted on my. --> Straightbible Youtube channel <--

Shed Talks Video Series

My current series is just me talking, about culture, history and spiritual things, and whatever suites me, in my "shed studio." It is similar to my Iconoclast series but much easier to record with a permanent setup in the shed with little lighting hassels and a huge clip board for my script outlines. I even have the lighting with ceiling LED's and diffused shop lights for night recordings, if I get the whim to record something in the middle of the night! I'm posting these on --> Shed Talks on Gab TV <-- where I do get some views.
